Teams Competition Rules
(Team Division & Youth Team Division)
1. Contest Overview
The Auctioneers Association Management Team (AAMT) Teams Competition includes two divisions:
• Team Division
• Youth Team Division
The competition will be on Monday evening during the conference. Refer to the official schedule for the exact times.

2. Eligibility
General Eligibility
• There is no membership requirement to compete.
• All contestants must complete conference registration and submit required contest materials by the entry deadline.
• Past winners are not eligible to compete again in the same division with the same partner, in the same role.
Team Division
• Contestants must be registered attendees of the conference.
• Each contestant may participate on up to four (4) different teams.
• Maximum of 32 teams accepted.
Youth Team Division
• Youth contestants must be high school seniors or younger at the time of competition.
• Once a contestant advances from the Youth Team Division to the Team Division, they may not return to the Youth Team Division.
• Maximum of 20 teams accepted.

3. Registration & Fees
Team Division (General Contest)
• Contest Entry Fee: $100 per person per entry
• Conference Registration (required):
• $250 Early Bird (on or before March 31)
• $300 beginning April 1
• Deadline for entries and contestant info - April 9th at 12 pm CST.
Conference registration includes:
• Access to all education sessions
• Teams Competition participation
• Monday Dinner
• Welcome Party (excluding drinks)
• Hospitality Suite
Youth Team Division
• No contest entry fee
• Conference registration is not required.

4. Entry Process
1. All contestants must pre-register for the conference through the official registration process.
2. After registration, contestants will receive a link via email to submit:
• Entry Form
• Short Biography
• Photo
3. All required materials must be submitted by 12 pm CST on Thursday, two weeks prior to the opening day of conference, April 9th.
4. Entries must meet all eligibility requirements to compete.
Plan ahead and register early.

5. Contestant Confirmation & Draw
• Contest order will be determined through a digital draw.
• Contest order and contestant information will be used for the official contestant booklet.

6. Contestant Orientation & Roll Call
• All contestants must attend the Contestant Roll Call & Orientation Meeting (time and location announced in conference schedule), unless otherwise approved.
• A sound check opportunity will follow orientation.
• Sound systems will be preset and will not be adjusted during competition.

7. Judging & Scoring
• Judging score sheets will be available for review prior to competition.
• Judges are selected in advance.
• Judges’ decisions and scores are final.
